I began my Investment Banking career as an Analyst on the Jefferies Healthcare team right after college graduation. My experience in Healthcare IB at Jefferies was very exciting. I was given a great deal of responsibility on transactions and significant exposure to Jefferies’ senior bankers and our clients. As a banker, I most enjoyed working with our clients and learning first-hand what it was like to grow their businesses. My exposure to the client side of banking inspired my interest in operations and management.

After four years of executing transactions for our Healthcare clients, I shifted banking groups to work with the Global Industrials team as the team’s COO / Business Manager. More recently, in February of 2020, I assumed the responsibility for the operations of the Municipal Finance team, as well. In my current role, I am heavily involved in the daily operations and build out of the Global Industrials and Municipal Finance Investment Banking businesses. As of today, I work with more than 215 investment banking professionals across the globe in the Global Industrials and Municipal Finance groups.

I touch many parts of the banking business each day, including assignments in Operations, Finance and HR. These various projects keep my job interesting and challenging. My broad mandate includes tracking the businesses’ transaction pipeline and revenue projections, focusing on banker development and building out the groups’ infrastructure. These assignments require me to collaborate with Investment Banking Management and each group’s Leadership to ensure that each business is expanding, becoming more efficient and retaining talent.

I am extremely grateful that I’ve been able to continue my career at Jefferies. It is exciting to be a part of an investment bank that invests so heavily in its people. I love the community that the Firm has built while also achieving its growth objectives.
